The NILI Resource Center (NILI-RC) is a virtual share-space for teachers of indigenous languages to find and share language learning materials. The NILI-RC is built using the Mukurtu platform which is allows nuanced control over sharing and cultural protocol of materials. In Phase I - the current phase - materials that have been physically hosted at the Northwest Indian Language Institute (NILI) offices at 1629 Moss Street, but that would benefit by being online and retrievable on a need basis, are being uploaded to the collection. In Phase II we plan to work with communities to add materials they wish to see stored at the NILI-RC, either for their teachers or for teachers from other communities to get ideas. In Phase III we hope to have user content be uploadable to the NILI-RC.
